A central tenet of the Aqsyanna Foundation is that love and respect for The Creator, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala, may be expressed through love and respect for the environment with which we are blessed. Thus, the RAQ Aqsyanna was designed and constructed with harmony with nature very much in mind. In particular, great effort was taken to preserve as many of the teakwood and other trees sharing the site.

The RAQ applies dutiful litter and waste management rules and operates a strict no smoking policy. It also strives to educate and enlighten through various programmes of on-site household refuse sorting for the purposes of commercial recycling, with the accumulated funds duly donated to those in need within the local community.
